Common questions
Do I have to bring my computer somewhere?
No. I come to you, and I work on things where they live — that way I can see your actual Wi-Fi, your actual printer, and your actual setup. Most problems are fixed in one visit.
What if it's something small, like a password?
Small things are welcome. Plenty of visits are twenty minutes of "oh, that's what that button does," and you'll only pay for the time I'm there.
I got a call saying my computer has a virus. Is it real?
Almost certainly not. Nobody legitimate calls you out of the blue about your computer. Hang up, don't let anyone connect to your machine, and call me if you're worried — I'll check it over and show you how to spot the next one.
Do you sell computers, routers, or TV mounts?
I don't stock inventory, but I'll help you choose what to buy, order it if you like, and set it up when it arrives — so you're not guessing in a store aisle.
Where do you go?
Truth or Consequences, Elephant Butte, Williamsburg, and anywhere else in Sierra County. Farther out is fine too; there may be a small travel charge, and I'll tell you up front.
How do I pay?
Cash, check, or card at the end of the visit. Written quotes for larger projects, no deposit for small jobs.
